EXCELLENT

Student is present or early for the beginning of each class and stays for full class time.

GOOD

Student missed less than 25% of a class

FAIR

Student missed one day of class or more than 25% of a class

POOR

Student missed 2 or more days of class


keep in mind only 10 hours can be missed per semester or student can/will be removed from program for attendance.

EXCELLENT

Student often asks questions, participates in pair/group discussions. Student turns in assignments, checks blackboard frequently,communicates with partner, attends study group or tutoring and is involved in outside volunteer activity. Always respectful to classmates and instructors.

GOOD

Student sometimes asks questions, and participates in pair/group discussions. Homework was late once. May have to be redirected back to class activity 1 or 2 times. Always respectful to classmates and instructors.

FAIR

Student rarely participates in class, struggles with pair/group discussions. Is off task more than twice. doesn't attend study groups or tutoring. Doesn't listen to discussion from instructor or other student 1-2 times. Has to be redirected back to class activity more than twice. Disrespectful behavior toward class mates or instructor.

POOR

Student never participates in class, does not participate in pair/group discussions. Off task more than twice doesn't attend study groups or tutoring. Doesn't listen to discussion from instructor or other student 1-2 times. Has to be redirected back to class activity more than twice.
Is disrespectful to instructors or class mates.
