Creativity and Word Choice	Exceeds Standards Writing is extremely creative. Ideas and style is refreshing and imaginative. Strong, vivid words and descriptions throughout. Words are creatively and appropriately used throughout the work.	Meets Standards Writing is somewhat creative. Some new and imaginative ideas. Some strong words and descriptions throughout. Some words are creatively and appropriately used throughout the work.	Almost Meets Standards Writing contains a few creative ideas but style is mostly ordinary. A few strong words and descriptions. A few interesting word choices however, some words are used inappropriately.	Does Not Meet Standards Writing contains many cliche ideas and a basic style. Poor word choice and descriptions throughout. Elementary word choices or many words misused.
Poetic Form and Unity (2X)	Exceeds Standards There is a strong sense of poetic form. All necessary elements are included.Strongly unified. Well-suited, creative title.
