Students will create a literal visual representation of five idioms. Define each idiom and use it in a sentence.

Presentation of image	Poor Only two visual presentations correctly represent the literal meaning of the idiom.	Fair Only three out of the five visual presentations correctly represent the literal meaning of the idiom.	Avarage One of the visual presentations does not represent the literal meaning of the idiom.	Excellent The visual presentation represents the literal meaning o each idiom.
Creativity	Poor Student has spent little or no time on project. Project is thrown together and very messy	Fair Student could have spent more time on the project. Project may be slightly messy.
