Fair

Student is dressed appropriately for interview. Female students' make-up is overly done. Facial piercing is present.
Good

Student is dressed for the interview. Students' attire is wrinkle free. Overdone make-up.
Excellent

Student is dressed for the interview. Hair is well kept. No facial piercings. Female students make-up is appropriate.
Introductions/Good Byes!

Uses proper greeting.
Speaks introductory greeting at beginning of interview and end of interview.

Unacceptable

Student fails to greet the interviewer at the beginning and the end.
Poor

Student greets the interviewer but not properly.

"Hi, Hey, Bye" etc...
Fair

Student performs proper greeting at the end of the interview, but not the beginning of the interview.
Good

Student states proper greeting at the beginning but not the end of interview, or gives excessive greeting.
Excellent

Student performs proper greeting at the beginning and end of the interview.

"Good morning, good afternoon. Thank you for your time" etc...
Preparedness

Attire, Cover letter, Resume, Job Posting.
Question anticipation.

Unacceptable

Student does not have the proper attire, cover letter, resume, job posting. Student has not practiced interviewing skills and therefore can't anticipate questions.
Poor

Student does not have the proper attire.
Student has the cover letter, resume and job posting. Student has practiced interviewing skills and anticipates questions.
Fair

Student has proper attire. Student does not have one or more of the following: job posting, cover letter, resume. Student has not practiced interviewing and can't anticipate questions.
Good

Student has proper attire, cover letter, and resume. Student lacks the job posting.
Student has practiced interviewing and anticipates questions.
Excellent

Student has proper attire, cover letter, resume, and job posting.
Student has practiced interviewing and anticipates questions.
Clarity

Able to communicate clearly.

Unacceptable

Student is unable to participate in the interview. Student is unable to answer questions when given plenty of time to answer.
Poor

Student is unable to answer questions or takes too much time.
Student does not speak in clearly Uses fillers, such as "ummm," repeatedly.
Fair

Student is able to answer questions, but takes too much time to answer questions.
Student does not speak clearly. uses fillers, such as "ummm," repeatedly.
Good

Student is able to answer questions, though not completely, in a clear voice.
Excellent

Student answers questions clearly, succinctly and in a clear voice.
Posture and interaction

Good eye contact,
smiling, posture, etc.

Unacceptable

Student does not interact with interviewer during the interview.
Poor

Student fails to do one of the following: maintain good posture, continual eye contact with interviewer. Student's facial interactions are not appropriate during interview.
Fair

Student fails to do one of the following: maintain good posture, continual eye contact. Student's facial interactions are appropriate during interview.
Good

Student maintains good posture and continual eye contact with interviewer during interview. Student's facial interactions are appropriate during interview.
Excellent

Student maintains good posture, and continual eye contact with interviewer throughout interview. Student's facial interactions are appropriate during interview.
