Observe and Record Students test their design and write down what they observed	Does Not Meet Student does not test their design and does not write down observations	Partially Meets Student is seen testing their design, but does not write down their observations.	Meets Student both test and writes down their observations.	Exceeds Student conducts two or more tests and writes down their observations for each.
Draw/ Design Students complete a sketch of their drawing with a title and parts labeled.	Does Not Meet No evidence of drawing or sketch	Partially Meets Student has drawing or sketch, but only includes either a title or parts labeled	Meets Student has a drawing or sketch with all parts labeled and a title.	Exceeds Student has a drawing or sketch with all parts labeled and a title. Sketch is also colored and is neat. No signs of erased lines or writing.
