Explanation	Poor Student typed one or less than one sentence that briefly explained why the award was chosen.	Fair Student typed two incomplete sentences explaining why the award was chosen.	Good Student typed three to four incomplete sentences or four complete sentences explaining why the award was chosen.	Excellent Student typed three to five complete and detailed sentences explaining why the award was chosen.
Creativity of Criteria	Poor Little or no effort was given to the project.	Fair Criteria shows some effort and gives the impression that student spent very little time on making connections to the character of the book/story.	Good Criteria created shows good effort. Student provides general connections to the character of the book/story.	Excellent Criteria created shows excellent effort. Student provides clear connections to the character of the book/story.
