Accuracy	Poor The project demonstrates little knowledge of the text. Characters are portrayed with many mistakes and understanding of the plot is highly inaccurate.	Fair The project demonstrates some knowledge of the text. Characters are portrayed with several mistakes and understanding of the plot is inaccurate.	Good The project clearly demonstrates knowledge of the text. Characters are portrayed with one or two mistakes and understanding of the plot is mostly accurate.	Excellent The project clearly demonstrates knowledge of the text. Characters are accurately portrayed and plot is respected.
Style	Poor Style is inconsistent. Vocabulary choice is inappropriate. There are more than 15 grammatical or spelling errors.	Fair Style is inconsistent. Vocabulary choice is inappropriate. There are 10 to 15 grammatical or spelling errors.	Good Style is inconsistent. Vocabulary choice is inappropriate (either poor choices or below the expected level). There are five to ten grammatical or spelling errors.	Excellent Style is consistent. Vocabulary choice is appropriate. There are few grammatical or spelling errors.
Participation/Effort	Poor Only one of the students in the group did all of the work. Students were off task most of the time and put forth minimal effort.
