AV Script	Advanced Plan sheet very detailed. Hook and close are clearly defined and innovative. Written clearly and grammatically correct. Formatting is perfect.	Good AV Script is weak in 1 or 2 areas. Formatting is good.	Fair A few areas planned, but more effort should have been put into the AV Script. Formatting has several errors.	Amateur/Home Video Re-do Hardly any effort in planning.

Storyboard	Advanced Storyboard is thorough and descriptive. Descriptions match the AV script.	Good Storyboard generally understood and formatted well.	Apprentice "B" Movies Storyboard is vague and confusing	Amateur/Home Video Storyboard was not submitted
Shots - Technical/Lighting	Advanced Footage steady and in focus;no headroom or alignment errors. Lighting is great all the way through.	Good 1 or 2 errors that could not be removed in editing. Lighting is good. Some shots were not great.	Apprentice "B" Movies Some parts are difficult to watch because basic camera skills are weak. Most of the shots were not lit well.	Amateur/Home Video Errors make viewing difficult. The entire project was not lit well.
Shots - Composition	Advanced Creative shots used for a purpose: basic sequence, matching action, over the shoulder, plus a variety of distances and angles. Matches storyboard.	Good A few long stretches of time where it would have been good to change shots. Matches storyboard for most of the time.	Apprentice "B" Movies Minimal effort to add variety in shots. Matches storyboard for some of the time.	Amateur/Home Video Not much beyond pointing and shooting. Does not match the storyboard.
Performance	Advanced Performance is well done. Talent is very believable. Facial and verbal expression is at a high level.	Good Performance is good. Talent completes lines without any problems. There is some facial and verbal expression but it is not natural.	Apprentice "B" Movies Performance is fair. Talent misses some lines, looks at the camera and/or is not very believable.	Amateur/Home Video Performance is poor. Laughing or fooling around. Not much effort was placed on the performance.
Sound - Narration, FX and Music	Advanced Voice levels are consistent. Hierarchy of audio is perfect. Music and sound fx are appropriate.	Good One or two weak areas where sound quality is poor.	Apprentice "B" Movies Sound levels are inconsistent; narration is too soft.	Amateur/Home Video Sound quality is poor; audience will have a hard time hearing on TV.
Editing	Advanced Shots left in serve a purpose; transitions and special effects used when necessary.	Good Lack of or over-use in several areas; long scene which is not necessary.	Apprentice "B" Movies message is lost by over-use of special effects or transitions; too much unnecessary footage kept in video.	Amateur/Home Video Minimal effort to improve quality of footage through editing.
