Watchmen- Graphic Thinking
We've torn apart Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' Watchmen into so many little words and pictures. Now, how can you use their skill sets to your benefit? Using a combination of words and images, motifs, and allusions, craft an original narrative that conveys one or more of the themes evident in Watchmen. This may take the form of a comic. Or it may take on another form -- so long as the finished product requires an understanding of both word and image in order to come to a full experience. For example, you might craft a film that makes interesting use of background text, subtitles, or some other use of the visible written word.
