	Poor 4 pts	Fair 7 pts	Great 10 pts
Summarization	Poor Student has a lot of trouble re-iterating what was read.	Fair Student summarizes most of the article but has some slight misunderstanding or forgets to include key facts or information.	Great Student uses only 1-3 sentences to describe clearly what the article is about.
Identifies Facts or Important Info.	Poor Student cannot recall important information in the reading without having access to the book.	Fair Student lists all of the main points but forgets one or two.	Great Student points out all of the main points in the reading without looking at the article.
Identifies Opinions	Poor Student cannot recall or locate any opinions throughout the reading.	Fair Student can recall 3 or more opinions in the reading but has a poor explanation as to why it is an opinion and not a fact.	Great Student can recall 3 or more opinions in the reading and explains why it is an opinion and not a fact.
