Requirements	Level 1 The student was not able to create a calligramme using imagery, figurative language and mood. The shape of the poem does not represents the main idea the student was trying to portray.	Level 2 The student was able to create a calligramme using some imagery, some figurative language and create some mood. The shape of the poem slightly represents the main idea the student was trying to portray.	Level 3 The student was able to create a calligramme using imagery, figurative language and mood. The shape of the poem represents the main idea the student was trying to portray.	Level 4 The student was able to create a calligramme using beautiful imagery, creative figurative language and establishing the correct mood. The shape of the poem represents the main idea the student was trying to portray.
Originality	Level 1 The calligramme appears to be thoughtless or rushed. Work is very repetitive and ideas seem cliched, impersonal or unoriginal. The calligramme does not meet requirements.	Level 2 The calligramme is creative, but does not demonstrate a variety of carefully written development. The calligramme does not meet most of the requirements.
