End of the Book Questions

Students are asked to answer questions about the themes and ideas based on the book they read for reading groups. Students must use citations from the book to support their ideas.

Quality of Answers	Unsatisfactory Answers had nothing to do with the questions given.	Partially Proficient Answers to the questions were not related directly to the text or had no detail to them. They did not provide support for the writer's ideas.	Proficient Answers to the questions were related to the text and lent support to the writer's ideas, but lacked detail. Some of the writer's ideas were not complete.	Advanced Answers to the questions were detailed and complete. The answers supported the writer's ideas and showed true comprehension of the text.
Grammar & Writing Skills	Unsatisfactory The rules of grammar and writing were not applied to this assignment.	Partially Proficient Some of the rules of grammar and writing were evident but there were many errors which made the writing difficult to understand.
