All parts of the paper have been completed within the rules set forth by information sheet. Font is size 12. Margins are 1 inch. Paper is double spaced. The Times New Roman font has been used. Paper is 2-4 page in length.

The topic of the paper is hard to determine or there are really serious problems with the coherence of the paper. It may be difficult to understand.

Grammar

Excellent

There are no/few grammar mistakes.
Good

There are few errors in grammar; however the errors that do exist cause problems with the comprehension of the paper.
Fair

There are many errors; however, they do not hinder the reader in understanding the paper.
Developing

There are many errors that hinder the reader in understanding the paper.
Incomplete/Unacceptable

Paper is not complete or there is an extreme amount of errors.
Writing Style

Excellent

Paper is written in a way that is interesting to read and it is interesting to someone not familiar with the topic.
Good

Paper is interesting with few instances of confusion with the topic. Student seems to know the topic well.
Fair

Paper is interesting until encountering a point of confusion. Student needs to do more research in order to fully understand the topic.
Developing

Paper could be interesting to a person not familiar with the topic if it was a bit more developed.
Incomplete/Unacceptable

Paper is not complete.

There is a well-developed introduction, thesis statement, and conclusion.
