GROUP SILENT FILM PRESENTATIONS GROUP SILENT FILM PRESENTATIONS Students are responsible for creating a silent movie. Students must convey their message while only using facial expressions, hand gestures, and body language. Silent Movie
	Developing 5 pts	Proficient 10 pts	Skilled 15 pts	Exceptional 20 pts
LENGTH	Developing Scene was 1:00 - 1:15 minutes long.	Proficient Scene was 1:15 - 1:30 minutes long	Skilled Scene was 1:30 - 1:45 minutes long.	Exceptional Scene was between 2-5 minutes long.
STORY	Developing Little to no effort to create a storyline. There was no defined beginning, middle, or an ending.	Proficient Some effort was made to create a storyline.	Skilled Storyline needs work. Either the beginning, middle or end was unclear.	Exceptional The story was ABSOLUTELY CLEAR from the beginning to the ending.
FACIAL EXPRESSIONS	Developing The student used only small or normal facial expressions. Students broke character throughout.	Proficient The student used some facial expressions. Student broke character occasionally.	Skilled The student consistently used some different facial expressions and did not break character.	Exceptional The student used BIG facial expressions that were obvious and purposeful to their characters.
MOVEMENT	Developing The student used only small gestures, body language, and movements.	Proficient The student used some gestures, body language, and movements.	Skilled The student used a variety of gestures, body language, and movements that were exaggerated.	Exceptional The student used WELL DEFINED, EXAGGERATED gestures, body language and movements.
GROUP COHESION/REHEARSALS	Developing Group did not work effectively during rehearsal time and did not collaborate well as a group.	Proficient Group tried to work effectively during rehearsal time and tried collaborate as a group. Multiple prompts by teacher to stay on task.	Skilled Group work was not always consistent by at least one student. Had to be prompted by teacher to stay on task.	Exceptional Group work was usually consistent and rarely needed prompts from the teacher. The group worked well together.
