Bodily Understanding	Excellent Student consistently used physical gestures, postures, expressions, gait, and body movements to effectively transform and explore new physical territory. Physical focus was complete.	Very Good Student effort was clear and at times physical gestures, postures, expressions, gait, and body movements to effectively transform and explore new physical territory. Work was evident in physical focus.	Good Student tried but fell short in more than one of the physical gestures, postures, expressions, gait, and body movements to effectively transform and explore new physical territory. Fell in and out of physical focus.	Poor Student did not actively use physical gestures, postures, expressions, gait, and body movements to effectively transform and explore new physical territory. Held back, did not risk at his/her level. Not physically focused.
Choices & Execution	Excellent Student constructed interesting, unique and purposeful work that would allow for creative growth. Environment, purpose, and relationships were clear. Physical goals were prevalent and well established.	Very Good Student tried but fell just a little short to construct interesting, unique and purposeful work that would allow for creative growth. Environment, purpose, and relationships were somewhat established. Physical goals were noticeable.	Good Student tried but fell short of constructing interesting, unique and purposeful work that would allow for creative growth Environment, purpose, and relationships were somewhat established however. Physical goals were noticeable but not clear or consistent.	Poor Student did not actively construct an interesting, unique and purposeful work that would allow for creative growth. Effort	Excellent Student put best time, energy and thought into presentation. It appeared polished and committed. Complete physicality and trusting in the process was evident.	Very Good Student tried but fell a little short to put forth very best effort. It felt a little muddled and held back and checking for "outside" approval. It needed a little more commitment to work out the rough edges of the physicality, however trust in the process is growing.	Good Student tried but fell short to put forth very best effort. Student's execution felt muddled and held back. It needed more commitment to work out the rough edges of the physicality. Trust in the process was minimal.	Poor Student did not put best time, energy and thought into presentations. Often lacked cohesion, execution, and clarity. Commitment and trust in the process was non-existent.
Cross	Excellent Student did cross and used the appropriate leg to begin the cross remaining open to the audience.	Very Good Student did cross but did not either sse appropriate leg to begin cross and did not stay open to the audience during cross.	Good Student did cross once but did not use appropriate leg to begin cross and did not stay open to the audience during cross.	Poor Student did not cross at least once.
