Revising/Editing	Excellent Demonstrates thoughtful consideration and imporvement of first draft. At least 2 areas of the draft were improved.	Good Students did not make significant corrections on their rough draft, but the final draft was still better than the rough draft.	Fair There were some corrections on the rough draft. The final draft was about the same as the rough draft.	Poor There were very few corrections were made on the rough draft. The final draft was the exact same as the rough draft. Final Draft	Excellent Story has a clear beginning, middle, and end. Story is complete and written or typed neatly.	Good Story only shows two of the three parts (beginning, middle, end). The story is semi-complete and typed or written neatly.	Fair Story only has one clear part of a story (beginning, middle, end). Story is partially completed and typed or written semi-neatly,	Poor Unclear story format. Paper is not typed and handwriting is pretty legible.	No Credit The story was incomplete. Handwriting is not legible.
