Group Poster Rubric
Working in groups of six students will work collaboratively on a presentation to the class based on Important Leaders and Documents from the 1700's when Colonies transitioned into States within New York based on each group member's interpretation. Each group will prepare an 8 to 10 minute presentation to the class on their topic. Each group presentation shall include a Chart Paper prepared by the group illustrating the group’s particular interpretation and an activity of their choice.

Information is presented in an interesting manner, demonstrating understanding. The presentation fits within the time range. The poster is used somewhat effectively as part of the presentation and planning is evident. All members of the group participate but seems uneven.
Fair

Information is presented in a somewhat interesting manner. The presentation fits within the time range. The poster is used somewhat effectively as part of the presentation. All members of the group participate but some uneven participation.
Poor

Presentation is not interesting and suggests a lack of preparation in both design and rehearsal. Does not effectively incorporate the content of the poster into the presentation. Contributions among the group's members are very poorly divided. Presentation has a poor pace.
Voki- Creation

Excellent

Excellent Visual of the Voki character, used correct historical information. Had clear voice.
Good

Good Image of the Voki character, had good facts and clear voice.

Character only resembled the character a little bit, speaking voice wasn't clear and only a few facts given.
Poor

Voki Character did not resemble the historical leader, not enough facts and audio was unclear.
