Class Content	Poor Student used little to no references from the content information. Student did not discuss the songs and did not follow the order of information.	Fair Student related back to content material, but did not elaborate on their worksheet and did not follow the song timeline.	Good Student continuously related back to content material in a well-ordered manner and clearly used their class assignment as a resource.
Research	Poor Student did not research examples or use any background data to answer questions.	Fair Students used one example for each music influence but did not use any more background data to answer other questions.	Good Student used research from public sources consistently to answer the majority of the questions.
Reflection	Poor Student did not express any opinion regarding any of the class material.	Fair Student gave their opinion in order to get the points for the questions, but did not truly express their feelings about the reflection questions.	Good Student gave their whole opinion and feelings about the question which called for a reflection.
Proofreading	Poor Student did not proofread their essay prior to turning it in. Multiple errors were made in each paragraph.	Fair Student missed a few grammatical errors, but made an effort to fix their essay before turning it in.	Good Student displayed proper grammar and punctuation throughout the essay.
