Decision Making/Critical Thinking

Student does not come close to completing the one page essay. Poorly describes the picture assigned to them in the little that they wrote. Wrong format.

Student comes close to completing one page essay. Student does not explain picture with enough detail in their writing. Unacceptable format with a few mistakes.
Good

Student completes entire one page essay. Proper format with only one mistake. Describes and explains picture vividly.
Excellent

Student completes the one page essay. Perfect format on the paper. Decribes the picture assigned to them extremely vividly and uses critical thinking skills while observing and writing the essay.
NETS/Next Gen Standards

Student does not pass any test or quiz. Does not properly use the online resources that are mandatory to function with ease.
Fair

Student does average on quizzes and tests. Has an idea of how to use the online resources but is still in need of assistance.
Good

Student passes tests and quizzes with at least a B. Knows how to use the online resources but often needs assistance at certain times.

Student passes tests/quizzes with an A. Fully knows how to use the online resources without any problems.
Teamwork Skills

Poor

Students are working terribly as a group. They are off topic and not working at all. Their work was unsatisfactory and minimum effort was invested into anything they did.
Fair

Students are working with one another, but do not reach agreements easily. They complete the assignment but it is sloppy and is not completely clear to understand.
Good

Students work with each other well. A couple of disagreements occurred throughout the process, but they were mostly on topic with different ideas. They had average organization.
Excellent

Students are cooperating very well with each other. Each student in the group is telling their own opinion on the matter. They stayed on topic and were organized very well.
Three Page Essay

Poor

Student did not pay any attention to the movie. Wrote only a page or two of the three pages needed. Did not clearly state their opinion that was needed.
Fair

Student was drawn to the movie only at times. Did not complete the three page requirement. Had some good points throughout what they wrote, but needed more explaining.
Good

Student watched most of the movie. Completed the three page requirement but did not explain what they were writing as well as they could.
Excellent

Student watched the entire movie. Completed the entire three page requirement with outstanding supportive information throughout the essay.
Reflection

Poor

Student did not try to complete the one page essay. Did not correctly format the paper. Did not put any effort into trying to have a passing grade.
Fair

Student attempted completing one page essay. Did not correctly format paper. Had a few vivid descriptions that were necessary for the paper.
Good

Student completed the one page essay. Formatted the paper correctly with only one or two mistakes. Spoke of a variety of topics that occurred recently.
Excellent

Student accomplished writing one page or more for the essay. The format was perfectly done. The descriptions discussed were extremely vivid.
