PRESENTATION Comp II Discussion Forum Your presentation should guide us through a craft-based discussion of the story itself, but also provide information about the author and the lit mag where the story was previously published. Presentation Rubric
	Fair 80 pts	Good 90 pts	Excellent 100 pts
Subject Knowledge 40 %	Fair Student seems uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions about the author and story.	Good Student is at ease with their selected short story, but may fail to elaborate or may rely too heavily on handout/slides to walk us through a craft-based discussion.	Excellent Student demonstrates full knowledge by guiding class through the reading in a way that demonstrates a clear investment in the presentation.
Supplemental Info 40 %	Fair Student's supplemental information/handout is factual, but it may feel insignificant, missing required components, or presented sloppily.	Good Student's supplemental information/handout mostly reinforces presentation and is delivered in a logical, organized way.	Excellent Student not only provides excellent supplemental info that reinforces presentation, but also fully engages with the text, the author information, and the original source publication.
Interest 20 %	Fair Student has little interest in the chosen story and doesn't engage the audience.	Good Student is mostly interested in the chosen story, and some of the audience is interested.	Excellent Student is very interested in chosen story and also gets the audience excited about discussing the piece and its merit as one of the year's best.
