Overall Presentation
1 pts

Students in the group will each present a part of the assignment. Physical (fidgeting, twirling of hair, etc.) or vocal ("um", "ahh" long pauses, "like", etc.) idiosyncrasies will not be apparent. Personality of presentation and flow is also included here.

Poor

Any student not speaking during the presentation will receive a zero for this section.

Idiosyncrasies that are either physical or vocal that interrupt the understanding of the presentation.

Overall flow of the presentation is very choppy and students seem unprepared and unpracticed
Good

All students speak during the presentation, but there may be a few idiosyncrasies that are either physical or vocal, but that do not really interrupt the presentation's comprehension. Overall flow of the presentation is pretty good, but may be somewhat choppy in places.
Excellent

All students speak during the presentation and there are no idiosyncrasies that are present either vocally or physically. Flow of the presentation is exceptional and it is clear that group members have practiced their presentation and are well aware of what they are supposed to be doing.
Reading of Assigned Poems
1 pts

Reading will be clear and in poem format.

Poor

Reading of assigned poems with little or no expression. Student may even have stumbled over the reading and it is apparent that the student has not practiced.
Good

Reading of assigned poems with some expression. Little to no stumbling over the reading and it is apparent that the student has gone over it at least once.
Excellent

Reading of assigned poems has a great deal of expression. The students' view of the poem is apparent through the reading. The reading is practiced with no doubt that the student has gone over the reading considerably.
Pesentation of assigned questions.
1 pts

Question and answer must be given. Answer must be intelligent and well thought out.

Poor

Questions are read one at a time and answered in the same sequence (exp. Question one, answer one, question two, answer two). All questions read and answered, but some may misunderstood or answered incorrectly. Answers are explained to the class, but all students in the group may not seem to understand the questions and answers for the presentation.
Good

Questions are read one at a time and answered in the same sequence (exp. Question one, answer one, question two, answer two). All questions read and answered adequately. Answers are explained to the class. All students in the group seem to understand the questions and answers for the presentation.
Excellent

Questions are read one at a time and answered in the same sequence (exp. Question one, answer one, question two, answer two). All questions read clearly and answered intelligently. Answers are well thought out and explained to the class. All students in the group clearly understand the questions and answers for the presentation.
Any Required Visuals
1 pts

Not all groups have a required visual, but those with charts must have the chart as a visual that is easily read. Visuals should be easy to understand and attractive.

Poor

Visual is perhaps not easily seen by most of the class class. Letters are not large enough for easy reading (Perhaps some may not be read at all by even the front row of the room).

Visual has covered the criteria required for the most part.
Good

Visual is easily seen by most of the class (but perhaps not from the back row). Letters are large enough for most to read (At least 2").

Visual has covered the criteria required adequately.
Excellent

Visual is easily seen by the entire class. Letters are large enough for easy reading (At least 3").

Visual has exceptionally covered the criteria required. If there is no visual required, additional weight will be assigned to the above three columns.
