Texture Project
	Level 1 The student does not meet the objectives and criteria for the project. (N/A)	Level 2 The student meets a few of the objectives and criteria for the project. (N/A)	Level 3 The student meets most the objectives and criteria for the project. (N/A)	Level 4 Student meets and exceeds the objectives and criteria for the project. (N/A)
Use of Texture The student uses elements of art of texture to create an independent project.	Level 1 The student shows an undeveloped knowledge and application of texture.	Level 2 The student shows a developing knowledge and application of the objectives shows some creativity in texture.	Level 3 The student demonstrates knowledge and application of the objectives and shows creativity in suing texture.	Level 4 The student shows an advanced knowledge and application of the objectives and shows excellent creativity with texture.
Follows directions Follows directions related to the project, according to the requirements.	Level 1 The student does not follow the directions.	Level 2 The student follows the direction with some deviation.	Level 3 The student follows the directions with slight deviation.	Level 4 The student follows the directions precisely with no deviation, or acceptable creative deviation.
Craftsmanship Neatness demonstrated through effective use of media/techniques.	Level 1 The student does not make efforts to neatly use art materials.	Level 2 Craftmanship and neatness is not consistent.	Level 3 The student demonstrates good craftmanship and neatness when using chosen art materials.	Level 4 Excellent craftsmanship is demonstrated throught the process of the project.
Creativity the use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work.	Level 1 Student does not try to create a unique design. The student copied exactly the teachers' example.	Level 2 Student tried to change a one or two items on the drawing.	Level 3 Student demonstrates some creativity. The student thought of the ideas themselves with very little help from the teacher.	Level 4 Excellent creativity!!!! Student came up with a total design that is unique and did not ask for any help from the help.
