2-Paragraph Essay Rubric IU

Given a grade level topic and a variety of styles (opinion, narrative, informative, etc.), Isaac will restate the writing prompt and write a 2 paragraph paper that is on-topic with 80% accuracy from a baseline of 35 % accuracy using a teacher-made rubric based on content, organization, capitalization, transition words, and punctuation.

Fair Addresses the assigned topic, though the focus may shift.	Poor Attempts to address assigned topic but with little or no success in establishing a focus.
