Soliloquy Presentation Monologue The student will perform a soliloquy to demonstrate how dramatic characters interact with their audience within the drama and/or collective creation. Students will sustain belief in their role and demonstrate confidence when assuming different kinds of roles in drama work. Voice 4 pts	Poor Difficult to hear and understand the actor's voice	Fair Projection and articulation need developing	Good Projection and articulation were clear for the most part	Excellent Strong projection, articulation, and appropriate tempo
Line memorization 20 pts	Poor Little or no effort in line recall	Fair Several lines were lost; difficulty recovering	Good Good memorization with a few hesitations; actor lost place four or less times but was able to recover	Excellent Flawless memorization; appeared to have no problems with delivery. To achieve an overall four, student must score either a 3 or 4 for line memorization.
Emotional Believability 20 pts	Poor Monotone delivery; no emotional connection with audience	Fair Little emotional attempt; lacks believability	Good Emotional choices made; some parts did not coincide with the script; somewhat believable	Excellent Clear emotional connection. Detaching from own feeling, transitioned to character well resulting in it being believable.
