Sharps Safety Brochure Project Grading Rubric
Hematology Dieases Brochure and Presentation rubric
The students will put together a brochure that is to contain information that they collected regarding needle safety. Topics to be covered include: Examples of sharps (min. of 4), how to handle sharps/syringes safely, how to properly dispose of sharps, the importance of safe handling/disposal, what to do if you have a sharps injury, examples of safety devices, and resources to reference. It is the unit project and worth 30%.
