Grammar, Spelling, Punctuation	Poor Spelling is poor and/or punctuation is not used. Grammar mistakes in more than 5 sentences.	Fair Spelling errors do not interfere with comprehension. Grammar mistakes in 5 or fewer sentences. Punctuation is usually used correctly.	Good Only 1 or 2 spelling or grammar mistakes. Punctuation is correctly used, and accents are attempted, with some success.
Content: 3 things about you.	Poor Less than 3 pieces of information are given.	Fair 3 pieces of information are given about yourself, but one or more sentences are not complete, or you have only 2 pieces of information but they are complete and extremely well done.	Good 3 complete, well crafted sentences give your pen pal information about yourself.
Content: Ask 3 questions	Poor One or two questions are asked, in point form.	Fair 3 questions are asked, but some are in point form or incomplete sentences.	Good 3 questions are asked in complete sentences, as you would in a formal conversation. May include use of descriptive words.
Form: Beginning and end	Poor Letter is missing two or more of the requirements for form.	Fair Letter is missing only one of the requiremements from the "good" column.	Good Letter includes a greeting, a formal introduction, and a sign off. Care is given to use the French form, not 'google form', ie " Je m'appelle Bob" not " Mon nom est Bob"
