Contour Model Contour Model Students make a contour map of an island of their choice. This island can be made up or can be a island that is real. Students are to use their imagination and put in a great effort to get all possible points. 	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Followed Directions	Poor Student did not follow directions at all.	Fair Student followed directions, but did not correctly draw contour profile.	Good Student followed directions.	Excellent Student went above and beyond directions.
Points placed correctly	Poor Student did not place the points in the correct order on the grid.	Fair Student placed some points in the correct order on the grid.	Good Student placed an acceptable amount of points in correct order on the grid.	Excellent Student placed all the points in the correct order on the grid.
Intervals and profile drawn	Poor Intervals are not contoured correctly and profile is drawn incorrectly.	Fair Intervals are together but some are incorrect and not contoured correctly on profile.	Good Intervals are correctly placed with a few minor errors and profile drawn .	Excellent Intervals are correctly contoured and profile is drawn correctly.
