Students will design a poster for Hispanic Heritage Month representing the Hispanic Culture. Students will also write a paragraph addressing the prompt,"What does it mean to be Hispanic to you?"

Creativity	Mal Hecho No creativity. Minimal expression and does not meet expectations.	Mas o Menos Some creativity and basic expression. Meets expectations on the lower level.	Buen Trabajo Expressed themselves creatively and completely. Met expectations on the higher end.	¡Excellente! Completely and thoroughly expressed themselves and went above and beyond creatively.
Neatness & Effort	Mal Hecho Bare minimum effort was made and neatness was an afterthought.	Mas o Menos Minimal effort was made for the project and it could have been neater.	Buen Trabajo Good effort was made and neatness was considered throughout.	¡Excellente! Great effort was made and neatness was obviously important.
Visual Representation	Mal Hecho Hispanic Culture was represented minimally and more often basic stereotypical visual representation with no other culture other than Mexican.	Mas o Menos Hispanic Culture was represented with a bit of extra non-stereotypical representation. Although more was of Mexican.	Buen Trabajo Hispanic culture was better represented with consideration for other Hispanic cultures and not just Mexican.	¡Excellente! Hispanic culture was very well represented encompassing all of Latin America and not just solely on one.
Written Expression	Mal Hecho Does not meet expectations. Minimal expression addressing the prompt. Missing information and over 5 grammatical errors.	Mas o Menos Meets Expectations (low). Addresses the prompt straight to the point no elaboration. Less than 5 grammatical errors but enough to interfere with comprehension.	Buen Trabajo Meets Expectations (high). Addresses the prompt with some elaboration. Less than 3 grammatical errors and nterference with comprehension is minimal. Basic vocabulary.	¡Excellente! Exceeds Expectations. Fully and completely addresses the prompt very elaborate. Almost no grammatical errors and complete comprehension. Variety of Vocabulary.
