Guided Reading Book Project Scoring Rubric 
This rubric will be used to score student book projects based on their independent reading. The student grade will be a combination of their project and their knowledge of the book's narrative elements (setting, characters, plot) shared during the presentation to the class. Notecards can be made to help guide the students during their presentation.

The final draft is readable, neat and attractive. It may have one or two erasures, but they are not distracting. It looks like the author took some pride in it.

The final draft is readable, clean, neat and attractive. It is free of erasures and crossed-out words. It looks like the author took great pride in it.
