Story Writing
	Excellent Students did very well. Put in much effort and followed instructions to a "T." 4 pts	Average Students completed the project sufficiently, but there were some missing elements. 3 pts	Poor Students completed project insufficiently. There was a lack of effort and organization. 2 pts
Cover/End 10 %	Excellent WOW!	Average Good.	Poor Needs Improvement.
Grammar 30 %	Excellent The grammar uses correctly reflects the grammatical concepts discussed.	Average Some of the grammar is incorrect (i.e. usage, spelling), but the essence of meaning is not lost.	Poor Most of the grammar is poor due to usage mistakes and careless spelling.
Pronunciation 20 %	Excellent The students speak well and pronounce the language with minimal mistakes.	Average The students make several errors in pronunciation, but continue to demonstrate effort and are understood.	Poor The students have made little progress in pronunciation demonstrating no effort w/regards to pronunciation. Students are not understood throughout the entire presentation.
Time on Task 15 %	Excellent The students worked cooperatively at all times.	Average Both members worked cooperatively most of the time, but either memeber veered off task at some point(s).	Poor Group memebers did not work cooperatively. One member put in most of the effort/work.
Illustrations 10 %	Excellent Each slide (page) contained at least one appropriate illustration that expressed what was going on in the story at that time.	Average Most slides (pages) contained at least one appropriate illustration that expressed what was going on in the story at that time.	Poor Many slides (pages) did not contain at least one appropriate illustration that expressed what was going on in the story at that time. And/Or 2 or more illustrations were inappropriate for the project.
Final Product 15 %	Excellent Fairy Tale powerpoint is well made with storyline corresponding to illustrations presented. There are at least 12 slides including the cover and end.	Average Fairy Tale powerpoint in OK, but does note flow well (pictures and script do not match). And/Or There are 8-11 slides.	Poor Fairy Tale powerpoint is poorly done with little to no organization or flow. And/Or There are 0-7 slides.
