Explanatory/Procedural Writing

Students will choose something they know how to do and write an explanatory passage to tell someone else how to do the chosen tasks using transitional words.

You have an interesting closing sentence, not just the last step.
Organization	keep trying There is no introduction. The information lacks details and does not have a is logical sequence. You may have omitted one or more some steps. Few, or no, transitional words are used.	Good Work Keep working at it. You left out one or more steps or they may have been out of order. This causes some confusion to the reader.	Very Good Work Your steps are presented clearly and in a logical order. Some transitional words and phrases are used. More details would help clarify the process.	Excellent Work!
