Music Composition

Using a combination of four different sounds students will create a musical sound environment. Students may choose any sounds except sounds that are made by a traditional musical instrument. They will create their own sound environment from the new 'instruments' they have discovered and chosen!

Create a Sound Symbols Create your own imaginative symbols to represent each sound.	Poor Student did not do as indicated.	Fair Student did mostly what the directions asked for. Presentation was generally neat and interesting.	Good Student did exactly as indicated, and did so with neatness, thought and originality.
Creat a Sound Score On any type of paper, or with any visual means, create a score that arranges your sounds in the way you would like them to be arranged, so that others could perform your creation.	Poor Student did not do as indicated.	Fair Student produced a score that is legible.	Good It was clear that the student spent a good amount of time producing a score that is original, visually pleasing and very readable.
Enter Title Use some traditional and non-traditional tempo and dynamic indications that help the musicians to know more about how you would like your creation to sound.
