Incomplete. Good intentions, but this aspect of your lab lacks focus.
Hypothesis

EXCELLENT

Is stated as an if...then ... because ... statement.
Is directly related to the problem with what could be done to solve it.
GOOD

Is stated in if...then... because ... format but needs to relate to the problem more directly and identify a realistic "because" statement.
Unsatisfactory to Emerging

Needs to be stated as if...then... because ... statement. Needs to relate to the problem more directly. Needs supporting detail (a better because).
Procedures and Materials list

EXCELLENT

Written as though giving directions. Written in complete sentences, no steps are missing. List is complete
GOOD

Logical sequence but missing steps. Some incomplete sentences.List is complete.
Unsatisfactory to Emerging

Needs more steps for the lab to be reliable.
Needs complete sentences. Listed but not complete. Quantities missing or are rarely there
Test Results/Data and Conclusion

EXCELLENT

An accurate data chart
and graph is present. Conclusion sums up the data. Includes relevant qualitative data and other observations.
GOOD

Data chart needs to be properly labeled to make sense of the data and /or graph needs to be properly labeled to make better sense of the results.
Unsatisfactory to Emerging

Data missing from the data chart and or graph. Hypothesis needs to be
restated and data used to describe how it is or is not supported needs more analysis.
