Illustration is appropriate to the setting and engages the reader to want to see the movie. Shows an important scene from the book and is different than the original book cover!

Illustration is appropriate, but is vague and leaves the reader wondering about the setting.

Illustration is somewhat appropriate to the book and may not appropriately represent what the book is about.

Illustration is not appropriate to the book and does not appropriately represent what the book is about.

The paragraph is at least 5 sentences and summarizes the book. It contains no grammatical, spelling, or punctuation errors.

The paragraph is less than 5 sentences and summarizes,the book and contains few grammatical, spelling, or punctuation errors.

The paragraph summarizes the book, but has several grammatical, spelling or punctuation errors and/or is too short

The student did not include a paragraph that summarizes the book well and it is too short with excessive errors.
