Response	Excellent Student response clearly displays connections with supporting details.	Good Student response clearly displays connections.	Fair Student response somewhat displays a connection between the text.	Poor Student response does not display any connections between the texts.
Mechanics	Excellent Student response is accurately written with no errors.	Good Student response is accurately written with few errors.	Fair Student response is accurately written with some errors,	Poor Student written response is attempted but is not accurate.
