I have also included a dedication page with other about the author or why I wrote this book.	Level 3 - Good My book includes a cover page with a title for my book that makes sense as well as my name.	Level 2 - Fair My book includes a cover page with a title that does not go along with the topic of my book.	Level 1 - Poor I didn't do a cover page.
Pictures/Clipart 15 %	Level 4 - Excellent I have included multiple (more than 5) pictures, drawings and clipart on various statues, monuments or famous NC landmarks as dicussed in class. My topics included various state symbols and statues, monuments or famous NC landmarks as dicussed in class. I read and analyzed what I read and provided valuable insight.	Level 3 - Good I have written good summaries, in my own words, on all the topics I chose. My topics included various state symbols and statues, monuments or famous NC landmarks as dicussed in class. I read some material and provided some insight.	Level 2 - Fair I did not write grade level summaries; OR I appeared to have copied and not put what I read into my own words for some or all of my work. I did not have both state symbols and NC statues, landmarks and monuments. I did not do a lot of research and I did not have a lot to write about because of my lack of research. Overall Creativity and Presentation 15 %	Level 4 - Excellent My book has great pictures, written summaries and excellent content about NC history. I worked diligently and really hard. Student also worked a lot a home to produce a quality book! I did my absolute best.	Level 3 - Good My book has some pictures, a few summaries and content about NC history. I worked mostly in class on this project.	Level 2 - Fair I am missing some content of pictures; my summaries are not complete or are just labels of photographs. I did not do my best and didn't spend as much time working on my project at home as I could have.	Level 1 - Poor My book was either not complete or showed little work effort. What went wrong?
Time Management 15 %	Level 4 - Excellent I worked hard every day in class to research and prepare my book. I asked for help when needed. I budgeted time daily and weekly and worked from home. I brought in a jump drive and felt good about my work ethic and completed my book early or on time.	Level 3 - Good I worked hard in class most of the time to research and prepare my book. I asked for help when needed. I was able to complete my book on time and to expectations.	Level 2 - Fair I did not give my best effort to researching and prepare my book. I did not ask for help when needed. I was not able to complete my book on time.	Level 1 - Poor I did not complete my book or submit anything for grading.
