Project Plan

Projet plan refers to the final product turned in with the game. It should be an extension of the Brainstorm, updated to be current. The completed project plan should include all aspects of completed game, including sprites used, objects, levels rooms, scripts and events and actions.

Original brainstorm is present and current 80% of requirements are met.

Original brainstorm is present and updated to current version of game. All requirements are present and well thought out. Project plan is well organized and easy to follow.
Game Play

Game play refers to the overall logical flow of the game. Including clear cause and affect actions.

Game has no logical design. No scoring or advancement.

Game has a purpose but the steps for reaching goals are not clearly articulated. Difficult to understand game flow. Incorporates game scoring.

Purpose of the game can be determined through play, but not always defined clearly, most actions follow a logical progression. Game scoring is clear and at least one advancement is present.

Purpose of the game is clear and cause and effect of actions follows logical progression. Game is scored correctly and more than one advancement is present.
Objects

Objects are graded based on number required and actions and interactions present.

No or one object present, no actions associated with it.

At least three distinct objects are present, some actions and inter-actions are present, but not working correctly for all cases.
Good

At least three distinct objects are present, actions and interactions are present for all objects including collisions. Results from actions are mostly expected, some flaws.

At least five objects are present with all appropriate actions and interactions, including 3 different types of collisions. Results are expected and accurate.
Aesthetics

Over all appearance of sprites, rooms, backgrounds, and music.

Very little thought was given to the overall theme of the game, sprites, music, rooms and backgrounds do not correspond.
