Mrs. Cooper - Civil War Letter

Boys will write letters to family representing soliders during the actual Civil War battle. The girls will represent the family and respond the the letters written. At Leat two paragraphs, proper grammar and punctuation is given. You must use at least 3 key facts learned.

Ideas	Poor Ideas are expressed with little or no detail. Ideas are not complete.	Fair Ideas are expressed with some detail but are general and vague.	Good Ideas are expressed with great detail and are specific and clear.
Word Choice	Poor Student does not use words that describe character or time period.	Fair Student uses at least one word that either depicts character or time period.	Good Student uses two or more words that either depicts character or time period.
Historical Consciousness	Poor It is not evident that student is informed of or aware of the history of the time and the reasons for going to war.
