Conceptual Music Video Rubric MUSIC VIDEO RUBRIC (2021) Student(s) will produce a conceptual music video. The music video will include an audio mp3 file (added separately from the video) and each second clip will match up appropriately part of the song. Music Video
	Excellent 25 pts	Fair 20 pts	Poor 10 pts
Filming and Direction	Excellent Fantastic use of camera angles and movement, clear and precise direction, great and polished acting. At LEAST 10 DIFFERENT CAMERA SHOTS were used.	Fair Some problems with camera angles and movement, direction, or acting. At LEAST 7 DIFFERENT CAMERA SHOTS were used.	Poor Problematic camera angles and movement, direction and/or acting. 4 or less DIFFERENT CAMERA SHOTS were used.
Editing and Composition	Excellent Great and clean edits. Audio matches up well with each clip and the video flows smoothly.	Fair Some problematic or rough edits and some issues with the audio and flow of final video.	Poor Problematic edits. Audio does not match up to the video and the final video is choppy and does not flow.
Project Specifications	Excellent All project requirements listed in project description were considered, followed and/or included in the final music video including exporting in apple pro res quicktime. Videos are 3-5 minutes. Video will be school appropriate with any profanity edited out.	Fair All project requirements listed in project description were considered, followed and/or included in the final music video including exporting in apple pro res quicktime. Videos are 2-3 minutes. Video had mild inappropriate language with profanity was only somewhat clearly edited out.	Poor Almost no requirements listed in project description were considered, followed and/or included in the final music video. Videos are less than 2 minutes. Profanity was not well edited out.
Theme	Excellent Theme is concise and clear as well as well explained.	Fair Theme is somewhat clear and some elements were missing	Poor Theme was not very clear. Lacked direction.
