Completed Measures	Fair Students did not complete 12 measures, with more than 10 rhythm corrections.	Good Students completed more that 6 measures. Students have at least 10 rhythm corrections.	Excellent Students completed 12 measures in their compositions. Students have under 5 rhythmic corrections.
Solfege	Fair Students did not identify Do for their beginning or ending pitched, but they do match. Solfege does not correctly match the key signature.	Good Students identified their Do for their beginning pitch but has less than 5 mislabeled solfege.	Excellent Students Identified their Do, beginning pitch and their ending pitch are the same.
Rhythm Variety	Fair Students use little variety of rhythms. They use 2 different types of notes and no rests are used. The rhythmic line is boring and too easy to play.	Good Students used some variety of rhythms that they have learned throughout. They use the some of the notes given and rests, but do not use all and the line isn't as interesting.	Excellent Students use a variety or rhythms that they have learned throughout. They used rests, quarter notes, half notes, whole notes, 16th notes, 8th notes, etc. It has an interesting rhythmic line.
Key Signature	Fair Students did not have two key signature changes.	Good Students did complete one key signature but did not add the second key signature. Sharps and Flats are mislabeled for the key signatures.	Excellent Students completed both key signatures with the correct key signature markings
