Book of the Month Assignment
In class we read the book, Thank You Sarah, by Laurie Halse Anderson. The children responded to this book in writing. They wrote what they learned about Sarah Hale, what words would describe her, and the theme of the book. All of their ideas had to be supported by text evidence.
