Area vs. Perimeter Project Area vs. Perimeter Project Students will be assessed on their area vs. perimeter project wich includes measuring shapes, calculating area and perimeter, putting all of the information into PowePoint and then presenting the information. Area vs. Perimeter
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 5 pts
Calculation	Poor Students did not measure the shapes correctly and thus resulted in the wrong area and perimeter. Studnets made errors in their calculation of area and perimeter.	Fair Students measured half of the shapes correctly. Students calculated half of the area and perimeter correctly.	Good The measurements of all of the shapes were done accurately. The calculations for area and perimeter where done accurately.
Charts	Poor Students failed to put all of the necessary information on their chart. Students didn't use a chart in their presentation. The chart was to busy for the audience to see what they were trying to explain.	Fair Students only put half of the required information on their chart. Students had one complete chart but were missing the other. Half of the chart was unreadable.	Good Students displayed their information correctly on the charts. The charts were easy to read and the audience could readily read and understand the material in them.
Relevance to Assignment	Poor The presenation didn't address the objective of the assignment.	Fair The presenation only addressed part of what the assignment was to include.	Good The presentation addressed all parts of the assignment clearly.
Presentation/Design	Poor Students read exactly what was on the slide. Only one person spoke from the group. The background made the slides unable to read the information on them.	Fair Most of the slides were easily able to be read. Almost of the participants had a role in the presenation.	Good The slides were designed well and were easy to read. All participants from the group were a part of the presenation. The students didn't read the slides to the class, but it was used as a tool for the presentation.
