Conclusion

There is an attempt at a conclusion, but it doesn't restate the topic, or tie any of the supporting details together.
Significantly Below Standard

There is no conclusion. The writing just ends without summing up, or restating the topic.
Grammar and Mechanics

Exceeds Standard

Each paragraph contains no more than two errors. The spelling, usage and/or mechanics do not distract the reader.
Meets Standard

Each paragraph contains 2 or 3 errors in usage, spelling and mechanics, but they are not distracting to the reader.
Below Standard

Each paragraph contains 3 to 5 errors in usage, spelling and mechanics, some of which are distracting to the reader.
Significantly Below Standard

Each paragraph contains 6 or more errors in usage, spelling and mechanics most of which are distracting to the reader.
