Elements/Principles of Design 10 pts	4 Multiple elements and principles were added to their ceramics to create visual interest. They thought about the texture differences in their piece; the color of their character; and the shape of their slip and scored pieces.	3 Multiple elements and principles were added to their self portrait to create visual interest. They met the requirements, but needed to consider one of the missing principles to fix errors like the proportions/shape of the clay head versus the body, color choice in their glazes or the lack of texture in their bobblehead.	2 There were problems in their ceramic bobblehead. 2 elements and principles were not considered in the making of their ceramic bobblehead.	1 None of the elements or principles were thought out in creating their ceramic bobblehead. Craftsmanship and Neatness 10 pts	4 Student produced an exceptional bobblehead. It is evident that time, effort, and thought were put in to it. The bobblehead was made in a neat and tidy manner and they worked on smoothing out and successfully slipping and scoring their pieces together. Their ceramic bobblehead can stand on its own.	3 Produces quality work. Effort and time were put in to the bobblehead. They created the bobblehead in a proficient manner, but they needed to refine a couple minor details like the smoothing of clay or slipping and scoring issues.	2 Needs improvement. Quality is below expectations in their ceramic bobblehead. More effort needed in making sure their piece is craftily made.	1 Did not produce quality work. Student did not show effort. Work was messy and not refined in any way. The pieces did not slip and score together successfully and they did not take time smoothing out places that needed to be. Their ceramic object cannot stand sturdy on its own.	Points
Time Management 10 pts	4 Student completed the ceramic bobblehead on time and used the whole class time working on it.	3 Students completed the artwork on time and used most of their class time working on the project.	2 Needs improvement. The student got off task a few times this project which showed in their end ceramic bobblehead product.	1 Student did not work on their bobblehead most of the time and was not ready to present their work for critique. Completion, Execution and Uniqueness 10 pts	4 Ceramic bobblehead is fully complete. Student added extra components to the bobblehead that were not required, but that strengthened their piece and made it look more realistic/complete.	3 Student completed the bobblehead successfully. All steps of the project were completed thoughtfully and the piece looks and works functionally.	2 Student only completed some of the requirements. The bobblehead was completed, but not executed well.	1 Student did not complete the bobblehead.	Points
Objectives/Requirements 10 pts	4 Make a plan for what character you want your ceramic bobblehead to look like. Make a pinch pot that is smooth. Score and slip pieces to the pot to create their head. Create a slab and roll it into a cone to make the body and attach pieces through slipping and scoring. Add designs and patterns to give the clay visually interesting with texture.	3 Student only met 4 of the objectives.	2 Student only met 3 of the objectives.	1 Student did not meet the objectives of the ceramic bobblehead.
