Summary of the plot	Outstanding Correctly tells the main plot briefly and clearly .	Average Correctly tells the main plot and clearly although it is a bit extensive.	Poor The plot is too long .
Description of character	Outstanding The character is described with adjectives from the level intended/or covered during the unit.	Average The character is described with adjectives but they are rather basic.	Poor The character is not described at all. It is only mentioned.
Grammar	Outstanding Contains no errors in grammar from the lower levels and only one or two errors in grammar from the intended level .Includes time sequencers correctly. The syntatic structures for recommending are from the level intended /or covered during the unit.	Average Contains few errors in grammar from the intended level and no errors from lower levels. The errors do not interfere with meaning.Time sequencers are included although one or two are not used correctly.The syntatic structures for recommending are rather basic.	Poor Contains many errors in grammar from lower and intended level.No time sequencers at all.No syntactic structures for recommending are used.
Fluency	Outstanding The speech is fluent enough for the intended level. The speaker does not get stuck for words for too long.	Average The speech is fluent on average although the speaker sometimes pauses for thought.	Poor The speech is not fluent at all. It takes the speaker too long to produce words. He has to check their notes constantly/He reads the summary word for word from their notes
Pronunciation	Outstanding There are only a couple or pronunciation errors or none at all. The intonation is in keeping with the sentence patterns.	Average There are a few pronunciation errors but the speech is comprehensible.Some effort is made in terms of intonation.	Poor The poor pronunciation affects the comprehensibility of the speech.
