Value Composition in Graphite/Color Pencil
Value Composition in Graphite and/or Color Pencils Composition demonstrates students ability to create an Illusion of volume/form using the element of Art:Value/ principle of composition. Composition uses all shapes/forms studied that overlap; value is added to the contour drawing using one or more of the methods taught in class (value scale only)Composition shows at least 4-6 values of shading and includes the 5 Principles of Shading: highlight, shade, shadow, reflected light and backshading.
