Write/Perform a Rap Song 
The students will write a rap based on a topic of their choosing but using thematic vocab. Their rap will include the common elements of rap songs as determined in class. They must also perform their rap for the class.

Tempo and rhythm are consistent. The dynamics flow, but could be used more fluently.
Fair

Tempo and rhythm are coming together but detract from the message.
Poor

The song is choppy with an unnatural mix of tempo. It has no change in dynamics.
