Quality of instrument descriptions	Poor Descriptions were unclear and/or inaccurate. Student failed to use appropriate musical terms to describe dynamic level and/or tone quality.	Fair Descriptions were fairly clear and reasonably accurate. Student only used a few musical terms to describe dynamic level and/or tone quality.	Good Descriptions were extremely clear and accurate. Student used several musical terms to describe dynamic level and/or tone quality.
Quality of character descriptions	Poor Descriptions were unclear and/or inaccurate. Student failed to use any type of descriptive qualities to describe the short story characters.	Fair Descriptions were fairly clear and reasonably accurate. Student only used a few descriptive qualities to describe the short story characters.	Good Descriptions were extremely clear and accurate.
