Mystery Numbers: Using Variables in Equations 
Students analyse an algebraic equation to find the mystery numbers represented by variables. The student will justify steps used to reach conclusions through computations and "math talks". Justifications can include the use of concrete objects, pictorial representations, and the properties of umbers and operations.
