The students will use their knowledge of the food groups and My Plate to create a days worth of menus that shows a healthy diet and how it follows the Choose My Plate in food groups and why it is a healthy diet

Food Groups Each meal must include at least one serving of food from three or more of the food group.	Poor Meal only includes a serving from two or less of the food groups.	Good Meal includes a serving from three to four of the food groups.	Excellent Meal includes a serving from all five food groups.
Components of Entree Each meal must include healthy food	Poor Menu is not healthy	Good Menu is healthy with most all components being healthy	Excellent Menu is healthy with additional ideas such as water throughout the day as an additional component of a healthy diet
